Veteran gospel singer and media personality Kambua is over the moon as her firstborn son Nathaniel hits the kindergarten milestone.

Kambua, on Thursday, July 3, 2025, took to social media in an emotional outpouring as her son celebrated a major milestone, graduating from kindergarten.

The proud mum shared a heartfelt tribute capturing both her joy and the profound journey that brought them to this moment.

In the heartfelt post, she disclosed that Nathaniel had been a fighter, adding that he was born prematurely at 34 weeks and weighed just 1.65 kg.

“Son, my son. The one who came after years of deep pain and public struggle. The fighter who, at 34 weeks, arrived weighing 1.65 kg! My certified king of kosokoso. Mummy’s heart. My Nathaniel graduated from kindergarten today and I am SO proud! God is good! Year one, here we come,” Kambua celebrated.

This comes after the ecstatic musician praised Nathaniel for healing her in many ways and reigniting the faith of many souls as she celebrated his fifth birthday.

Taking to her Instagram page, on August 11, 2024, Kambua penned down a hearty message to her son, noting that he is the first of her babies that she ever got to hold.

Kambua added that Nathaniel’s birth came after loss and deep heartache.

“This incredible boy of mine turned five yesterday. FIVE y’all! I can’t even believe it. Wasn’t it just the other day that I made my first-ever pregnancy announcement? It sure feels like it.

“Nathaniel (gift of God) is the first of my babies that I ever got to hold. He came after loss and deep heartache. God has used him to heal me in many ways and to reignite the faith of so many souls ,” Kambua wrote.

“He’s still the chairman of Kosokoso! Oh, but I love him so. Happy 5th, my precious boy! I pray that you grow to know the depth of my love for you. God protect and watch over you all the days of your life.”

Kambua and her husband, pastor Jackson Mathu, welcomed Nathaniel on August 10, 2019, after seven years of marriage.
