Weezdom says he has been celibate for 5 months

Gospel singer Weezdom has disclosed that he has been celibate since January 2025, marking five months of intentional change.
Sharing the news on his Instagram stories on Saturday, June 7, he noted that he now finds joy in celebrating his small victories, emphasising how surprising it is even to himself that he has maintained celibacy for this long.
Known in the past for a lifestyle he described as moving from bed to bed, Weezdom acknowledged how far he has come, referring to his past as a phase he has consciously left behind.
He noted his transformation as a return to better values, likening it to the journey of the prodigal son, and attributed his newfound discipline and growth to divine intervention.
“Nowadays, napenda kucelebrate my small wins… Since January, I’ve been celibate. Wah, ata siamini ni mimi! Former striker wa bed-to-bed affairs nimebadilika hivi. #ProdigalSon. Glory to God, I’m now a #BetterMan,” Weezdom wrote.

Turbulent love life
Interestingly, this declaration of celibacy comes newly two years after he introduced a new girlfriend to his fans. The singer went public with the relationship just two months after calling it quits with his ex-fiancée, Mylee Staicey.
Weezdom shared a series of affectionate photos with his new partner, praising her beauty and expressing his joy.
“Ukiwa na mali safi kama hii unaweza taka nini ingine?” he wrote on one post. In another, he added, “Aky mapenzi wewe😊 @gitta_music ❤️❤️❤️,” tagging the woman who was believed to be his new lover.
In an interview with SPM Buzz, Weezdom made a public appeal to Mylee Staicey, asking her to return the engagement ring he had bought for her.
“Someone tell Mylee to return the engagement ring I gave her! I bought it at Ksh100K, and I want it back,” he said.
He added that he wants the ring to be with someone he truly loves, and Mylee is no longer that person.
“Iyo pete inafaa kuwa an mtu ambaye napenda, an si yeye,” he added firmly.

Weezdom and Mylee had a rocky, on-and-off relationship that ended in November. Their final breakup was reportedly triggered by Mylee’s reported disrespect towards Weezdom’s mother. Before the split, the singer had publicly begged Mylee to take him back on the reality show Take Me Home, even going down on one knee.
“Aki usiniache apa kwa magoti, nimepromise. Aki niambie kama utakua na mimi for the rest of your life,” he said emotionally during the show.
“Sometimes we’re on, sometimes we’re off. Sometimes we’re happy, sometimes we’re not. Sometimes we’re together, sometimes we’re apart. But no matter what, you’re always in my heart❤️🙏,” he later posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, reflecting on their up-and-down relationship.
Adding to that, Weezdom got a tattoo of Mylee’s name on his arm, which he described as a symbol of deep love.
“Tattoos are the stories in your heart written on your skin. You’re the queen of my heart,” he captioned the video showing the tattoo.
